Barbara Jean Woodall Gray, 76, stepped into heaven Sunday, April 3, 2016.
Graveside services: 10 am Friday at Roselawn Cemetery in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Barbara was born May 1, 1939 in San Francisco, California to Charles and Opal Woodall. Following a move to Arkansas at age 7, she graduated from Stuttgart High School in 1957 and from Baptist System School of Nursing in 1960.
A registered nurse for over 40 years, she practiced mainly in adult and neonatal intensive care units. She retired from Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock in 2001 and moved to Texas to be closer to her grandchildren.
Barbara was a member of North Richland Hills Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She had been a volunteer for the American Cancer society and frequently supported a wide variety of charity organizations. Barbara's favorite hours were spent attending her grandchildren's activities and school events, traveling with her family, and spending time at the beach.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Opal Woodall and her grandson, Tyler Lloyd Gray.
Survivors: daughter, Terri Dawn Kane and husband, John Kane; son, Jeffrey Lloyd Gray; and grandchildren, John Peter Kane, Michael Allan Kane, Luke Tsuyoshi Kane, Nicholas Butler Hiroshi Kane, Mathew Tyler Kane, and Ashelei Renea Gray.
