Barbara Jeanette Cox

Barbara Jeanette Cox, 65, passed away in her home in Ft. Worth on February 3, 2025. She was born to her parents, Donald and Libby Martin on February 24, 1959 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

In her early childhood, she attended and graduated Bayside High School, and then later on went to Tarrant County College. For most of her working life, she was a vibrant and devoted worker of Home Depot for over 20 years, and always delighted customers with her extensive hardware expertise. When she wasn't working, she loved to tend to her garden, craft, and loved listening to bluegrass music.

She was a faithful member of Messiah Lutheran Church for 25 years, and during that time her faith never wavered and only grew stronger with the challenges that she faced.

Barbara is preceded in death by both of her parents, Donald and Libby.

Barbara's surviving family members include her wonderful step-father, Stanley Gilbert; her children Barbara Brewer and Robert; her grandchildren Jared, Jacob, and Ashley Brewer; and many other family members and friends that will miss her colorful soul.

A memorial service will be held in her honor at Messiah Lutheran Church on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 1:00pm.
