Barbara Jean Lawrence

Barbara Jean Lawrence, of Fort Worth, TX, passed away on August 18, 2019 at the age of 80. She was born on January 13, 1939 in Georgetown, TX, to David Rudolph Hoyle and Leona Mae Evans. Barbara was raised in Austin and then moved to Fort Worth, where she met her husband who was hitchhiking in Saginaw, TX and they were married 12 days later. She was a devoted housewife and mother. Her husband was in the Air Force, so that gave a chance for Barbara and her children to travel the world.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jackie Lee Lawrence Sr., Her five children; Jackie Lee Lawrence Jr., Cathy Ann Jury, Steven Ray Lawrence, and Sharon Denise Wells. Three grandchildren; Gary Wayne Lawrence II, Patrick Allen Jury, and Melissa Nicole Williams, five great-grandchildren, and Siblings; Carolyn Brawner, and Robert Hoyle.

She was preceded in death by her Son; Gary Wayne Lawrence, Brother; David Rudolph Hoyle Jr., and Sisters; Dorothy Estelle Dickerson, and Tina Mae Hiness.

The Visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Friday August 30, 2019, at Lucas Funeral Home Chapel, and the Memorial Service will follow.
