Barbara Dickerson Mccomas-Slack

Barbara Dickerson McComas-Slack, age 74 of Grapevine, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away August 2, 2018. She was born October 29, 1943 in Fort Worth, TX, to W.T. and Laverne (Linthicum) Dickerson. She is survived her husband, David Slack, her 2 children Bryan McComas and wife, Deborah of Liberty Hill, Teresa Carlson and her husband, Gary, of Keller, and her step-daughter Ami Tubb and husband Gary, of Royse City, her brother Terry Dickerson and wife Peggy of Ozona, and sister Donna Moran and husband Stacy of Granbury, her five grandchildren, Austin McComas and wife Jessica, Aaron McComas, Sargeant Kristen Mills and husband David, Terri Tubb, and Sara Carlson, and 5 great-grandchildren, McKenzie Henderson, Tanner Henderson, Madison McComas, Madealyn Kaake, and Austin Mills, along with many other friends and family. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, W.T. and Laverne Dickerson, and her first husband, Frank McComas.

Funeral service are being held on Sunday, August 5 at 2 p.m. at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine, TX.
