Barbara Ann Reed, born on July 4, 1940, in Okmulgee Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on October 10 2024, in Keller, Texas. A cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend, Barbara's life was filled with love, laughter and countless cherished memories.

Barbara, whose maiden name was Faylor, was known for her vibrant spirit and her deep love for family and friends. She dedicated her life to nurturing those around her and creating unforgettable moments, whether it was during her playful game nights with friends or her delightful Saturday night dinners, where laughter and joy rang through the air. A passionate traveler, Barbara embraced adventure with open arms, often sharing tales of her journeys.

She had a special affinity for her grand dogs, Ruby and Roxy Farmer, who brought immense joy into her life. Barbara was a devoted member of her small church group at the Legacy Church of Christ, where she found community and connection.

She is survived by her beloved son, Glenn Farmer; her best friend, Leslie Wolfe; and her step-children, Sherry Jones, Jerry Reed II, Kathie Harris, and her half-brother, Gary Faylor.  Additionally, she will be remembered fondly by many grandkids and great-grandkids who were fortunate enough to know her love.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Jerry Reed, and her daughter-in-law, Kay Farmer. Also preceding her were her step-daughter, Debbie Ozee; her loving mother, Happle Lou Medlock Faylor and her father, Allen Eugene Faylor.

Barbara's memorial service will take place on October 18, 2024, at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, Texas. The service will begin at 2:00 PM, allowing family and friends to come together to celebrate her remarkable life and the indelible mark she left on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In this time of remembrance, we honor Barbara Ann Reed's legacy of love, kindness, and her extraordinary spirit that will forever resonate in our hearts.
