His funeral is at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 8, 2017, also at this location. Burial is at the Grapevine Cemetery - N. Dooley Street at Wildwood Lane in Grapevine, Texas.

Born in San Bernardino, California, on March 22, 1964, to Nancy and Peter deLackner, Bart graduated from Boswell High School in Fort Worth, Texas, and attended college.  He was a swimmer, loved sports - baseball and football, and had a black belt in Ju-Jitsu.  As a hobby, he loved gaming with his friends and creating the worlds in which they played, and was a partner with his wife (which they currently owned), his mom and Del Bartlett in a business at Scarborough Faire in Waxahachie.  He was a builder of custom race boats with his father for years and was a valued employee for various companies, including NTS Architects and Galaxy Builders.

Bart was an exceptional son, husband, father and friend who loved his entire extended family.  Calm, creative, highly intelligent, spiritual, and kind to his friends and acquaintances - his soul and his spirit shared on this earth could not have been a greater gift.

Bart is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Marie Anne deLackner; his children, Nicole, Barton and Geneva; a grandson, Joseph; sister, Tara deLackner Bailey and her children; and his mother, Nancy Isis deLackner Bartlett & husband Del Bartlett. He is also survived by his aunt Lana McCall Cagle and husband Chris, uncle Michael McCall and numerous much loved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Peter Donald deLackner; paternal grandparents, Freda and Donald deLackner; and maternal grandparents, Edna and Robert McCall; his aunts Barbara deLackner Greiner and Sally deLackner Estes.
