Our beautiful, precious, and beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, friend, teammate, and coach, Isabella ‘Bella’ Nicole Gonzales went home to be with her Lord & Savior on Friday, May 20th, 2022.
Bella was born May 15th, 1998, in Puyallup, Washington. She had a heart of gold with a huge smile and infectious laugh. She was a bright light of hope, faith, and encouragement to all who knew her. Bella had three passions in her life: gymnastics, cheerleading, and GOD. She was a competitive gymnast at U.S. Gold Gymnastics and Cheer Academy in Roanoke for many years, winning the Beam and All-Around State Titles her final year. She was also a competitive cheerleader both through Premier Cheer Academy, a gym her family cofounded (now Champion Cheer Justin), and at Champion Cheer Southlake where she cheered on Thunder, Heat, and Phoenix. She was so excited when she made Champion’s World Team, Heat, her senior year in high school. Bella ended her cheerleading career as a UNT Cheerleader for 4 years, cheering on the Mean Green and competing in Daytona at College Cheer Nationals. She was mat captain for Daytona 2 years and assisted in choreographing the routine her final year with UNT.
Her passions and talent for both sports led her to coaching gymnastics and cheer at U.S. Gold Gymnastics and Cheer Academy as well as becoming a personal trainer and nutrition coach. She was everyone’s biggest Cheerleader, providing constant encouragement and positive affirmations to her young athletes. Bella loved sharing the gift God gave her by allowing her to mold children into talented athletes and helping build their character at the same time.
Her love for the Lord was evident in how she lived her life and encouraged everyone around her. She loved passionately, sacrificially, and without hesitation! Bella wanted to save everyone and spoke boldly about her love for Christ!
Bella was preceded in death by her cousin Maryanne Gallegos and Uncle Adam Zamudio.
Left to forever cherish her life are Punky’s Parents, Jesse and Billie (Day) Gonzales; Brothers Caleb and wife Kailey (Day) Gonzales, Samuel Gonzales and fiancé Elora Rogers, Jake Cleaver and wife Anna Courneya, Jesse and wife Krista Pierce; nieces Norah, Cora, and Madeline; nephews Amsden and Luca; Grandparents D.E. and Judy Day, Gilbert Zamudio, Santos Hernandez; Uncles Patrick and Lizette Day, Jacob and Chelsey Day, Frank Gonzales; Aunts Angie Zamudio, Rosario Zamudio, Christy Sanchez; along with many cousins and loved ones.

Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.” Isaiah 6:8 NLT
