Ben Garcia Leal

Ben G Leal loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away after a brief illness at the age of 75 on January 27, 2022 at Methodist Mansfield hospital with his devoted wife, Ramona, at his side.
Ben was born on April 2, 1946 to Eliseo & Santos Leal in the small town of Seguin, TX. Shortly after meeting the “Love of His Life” Ramona, the two married in 1965 and moved to the DFW area where they settled down for the next 56 years and watched their family grow.
Ben loved fishing, playing golf, and family get togethers where he enjoyed playing volleyball and being surrounded by his grandchildren and great grandchildren. When he could no longer play, he cheered from the sidelines. His favorite hobby was watching his family play soccer and never missed an opportunity to voice his support from the stands. To know Ben was to know his contagious laugh and how he could brighten your day with its sound.
Ben is survived by his loving wife Ramona, his children Ben (Marisa) Leal, Carolyn (David) Williams, Michael (Maria) Leal, Cynthia (Jon Barker) Sauceda, his mother Santos G Leal, sisters Diane & Laura, and brothers Robert & Ruben. Ben has 19 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
