Benito Tarifa

July 21, 1939 — May 8, 2019

Benito Tarifa, passed away on Wednesday May 8th, in Fort Worth, TX. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and a man of God to everyone he knew and that loved him. He was born on July 21, 1939 in Santa Marta Varadero Cuba to Florencio Tarifa and Rosa Martin.

His life was a living testimony of his faith. Mark 10:27 With God all things are possible. This was one of Benito’s favorite scriptures. With God’s help he was able to leave Cuba and venture to the United States to provide the best life possible for his family for future generations.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years Yolanda Tarifa, his children Betty Tucci, Domingo Tarifa, Jessica Tarifa, and their spouses Nick Tucci, Esther Tarifa and Nissa Tarifa, two brothers, Fabian and Miguel Tarifa, two sisters Esther and Migdalina Tarifa, six grandchildren Nicole, Giselle, Daniel, Natalie, Matthew, Cordelia, two great grandchildren Robert and Julianna.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Dionisio “Titico” and Juan “Juanito” Tarifa.

The celebration of his many blessings and life will be held from 3-5pm on Saturday, May 11th at Lucas Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital.
