Bennie Lee Rawls, passed away on April 22, 2021 at the age of 93.
Bennie was born on November 9, 1927 to Eddie Ross Rawls And Ruby Margaret Mathis in Fort Worth.
Bennie served in the United States Army during WW II stationed in Japan as a cook.
Bennie and his wife Betty traveled for his work as a welder on pipelines.
In January 2021 he was presented with a membership certificate for his 67 years as a continuous membership in Pipelines Local 798.
Bennie continued welding in Granbury, Texas. He made metal racks, firewood racks, metal hooks, end tables and trailers. he always had a project in the works.
Bennie was preceded in death by his mother and father and his Loving Wife Betty Moore Rawls.
Bennie is survived by his brothers, Don Rawls and his wife Jeanette and Herbert W. Mock; his cousin, Aubrey Mathis and his wife Jeanette; and sister-in-law, Jane Moore.
The family wants thank the Staff at Courtyards at Lake Granbury and the Hospice Care Givers.
