Bernice Lynn Collett

Lynn Collett age 72 of Burleson went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 30th, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born September 12, 1949 in Fort Worth, Texas to Jessie and Eula (McGee) Wilson. She met the love of her life Tom Collett when she was 5 and he was 3. Lynn was a graduate of Trimble Tech Highschool, class of 1968. She loved working with and supporting children, first as Social Worker for the State of Texas and then as a middle school secretary with the Venus ISD. Lynn volunteered for the P.O.N.Y. softball league for 25 years. She enjoyed arts, crafts and decorating for Christmas which began the first of October.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Frances, Billie, and Betty; and brother, Calvin Wilson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 51 years, Tom Collett; daughters, Melissa Hill and husband Christophere, Christina Jackson, and Rachel Farquhar and husband Kent; grandsons, Colby Farquhar, Jacob Farquhar, Colton Jackson and Christian Holt; brother, Richard Wilson; sister, Bonnie Soleki and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
