Betty Louise Dees (Nanny), 87, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018.
Funeral: 10:30 Monday, August 27, 2018 at Shady Oaks Baptist Church, Hurst. Visitation: 2-4pm Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst. Burial: 12:30, Monday August 27 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas.
Betty was born on December 17, 1931 in Lakeland, FL to Vera and Lankford Carter. She dedicated her life and time to her Lord and Savior, her family and to helping others. The family would like to offer a very special thank you to Comfort Care Hospice for their unending support during her final days.
Betty is survived by her husband of 68 years, Jim Dees; son, David Dees and daughter, Debi Manale and husband, Bullett; grandchildren, Brandon Dunn, Joshua Dunn, and Laurie Knight and husband, Kyle; great grandchildren, Camryn Molnar, Sydney Knight, Nolan Dunn and Hudson Knight; and many other extended family and friends.
