Betty June Williamson, 87, went home to the Lord on July 1st, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness and will forever be cherished by her loved ones and friends.
Betty had a love for life and kept on going, even when suffering many hardships along the way.
She was a graduate of Daingerfield High School and attended Draughon Business School in Dallas where she met the love of her life, Loyd. She continued her education at Tarrant County Junior College receiving Real Estate Certification. After 25 years in the Oil and Gas Industry, Betty ended her successful business career as a tax property agent with Oryx Energy Company.
After she retired, she worked as a school crossing guard for Hurst ISD. Seeing the school children brightened her day.
She loved learning to paint at the Hurst Senior Center, and enjoyed sewing, gardening, crossword puzzles, and shopping at thrift stores. Organizations she belonged to include The Hills Church of North Richland Hills, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and the Red Hats Society.
Betty is preceded in death by her father Monroe, mother Maydell, brother Kenneth, son Doyle and her two husbands Loyd and Phil.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan, and Dana (spouse Howard) and loving grandsons Ryan and Chase Sickler.

A celebration of Betty's life will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 27th, at the Lucas Funeral Home Chapel, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, Texas, where her spirit will be honored and her memory cherished.
