Betty Jane Lee

RICHLAND HILLS -- Betty Forte Lee passed away peacefully at her home on October 18, 2016 with her family by her side. Visitation: Thursday, 5 p.m. - 7 p.m., Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst; Graveside Service; Friday, 1:00 p.m.; Masonic Cemetery, Seymour, TX. Betty was born January 29, 1934 to Doris Smith Forte and Alvin Forte in Atlanta, GA. She moved to Texas from Georgia in the early 50's. She then met and married her husband of 61 years, Charles D. Lee on September 23, 1955. They are members of RHCC. Together they raised four daughters. She loved her girls and prided herself with her 11 grandkids and 15 great-grandkids. She was compassionate and dedicated to her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Jackie, brother Gerald, brother Howard; Survivors include husband Charles Lee; Daughters Karen Collins (Charlie), Laura Lee (Cindy), Donna Roberts (James) and Julie Teel (James); grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
