Betty Jean (Conrad) Robeson died on February 24, 2020, just shy of her 91st birthday.
She was born in 1929 and grew up on her parents' farm in Iowa. In 1948, she married her high school sweetheart, Billy Robeson. They were married for nearly 70 years and had two daughters, a granddaughter and a great-grandson. Betty worked in accounting and banking before her children were born.
Betty loved to play cards, especially bridge, and won so often her friends jokingly called her "Betty the Barracuda." She was active with the Greater Keller Women’s Club and frequently attended water aerobics. She also enjoyed traveling and taking cruises with her family.
Betty was gentle and kind — a true family matriarch.
Betty is survived by her daughters Susan Netter and Sharon Castille; her granddaughter Sarah Netter and great-grandson Calvin Netter; son-in-law Larry Castille and step-granddaughter Desiree Young; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her husband Billy, her sister Gladine and her son-in-law Craig Netter.
