Billie Jo Edming

Billie Jo Edming, 80, of Roanoke passed from this life to her eternal home on January 18, 2020. She fought a long battle with lung cancer.
Jodie, as her friends called her was born September 29, 1939 in Wilson, Oklahoma to Faye Rene and DeRoy Bailey. In February 1958 she married the love of her life Roger Edming. This union a baby girl Sheree was born. As all great love stories go they divorced each taking different paths. That baby reunited them and in 1994 they remarried.
Jodie was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of the home, Roger Edming; daughter, Sheree Norman and husband David; grandson, John Norman; A daughter, not of her womb but of her heart, Laura Dozier and husband Ian; grandchildren, Addison, Easton and Cadel.
Memorial Service will be held at Freedom Fellowship Church, 100 Dorman Road, Roanoke, Texas at a later date. Services will be conducted by Chris Schad.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Freedom Fellowship Church.
