NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Billy Gene Albritton graduated to glory Monday, Sept. 30, 2013.Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hurst Assembly of God, 812 Harrison Lane, Hurst. Interment: 10 a.m. Friday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home.Billy was born in Bridgeport to Ben and Belle Albritton. He recently returned to the Fort Worth area after living in Oklahoma and Arkansas. He owned an insurance agency for many years and also evangelized and pastored in both states.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Addie Warner, Doris Galloway and Ima Lee Anderson.Survivors: Dortha Hughart Albritton; their daughter, Barbie Harris and her husband, Ken; grandchildren, Patrick and Zachary Harris; brother, Ted Albritton and wife, Geneva; sister, Betty Joy VanHoose and husband, Cecil; and precious sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
