Billy "Monroe" Fite ended his earthly journey peacefully on February 21st in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 86.
Monroe was born on December 10th, 1932 in Hopkins County to David Calvin Fite and Nayrene Ward Fite. He was part of the first graduating class of Northwest High School of 1951.
He retired after 36 years from Lockheed Martin. As an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and explored the country in his RV.
Monroe is survived by his beloved daughter, Dana Fite and granddaughter Robbie Rae Holmes. His son Terry Alan Fite, his wife Christi Fite and their daughter Cheyan Fite. Also, a loving extended family. He is preceded in death by his grandson Cole Alan Fite, his first wife Janet Cannon Fite, and his second wife Patricia Pledger Fite.
Minister Kyle Kiser of The Hills Church will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Monroe's life. Flowers and condolences may be sent to Lucas Funeral Home.
