Billy Glenn Stewart, Jr., a brother and friend to many, entered his heavenly home on July 24, 2019. He was born to Lorine and Billy Glenn Stewart, Sr. in Anniston, Alabama on November 26, 1947. He grew up in Southlake, TX and lived his last years in Mineral Wells, TX.
As a young man, Billy was a PRCA member and competed in bareback bronc and bull riding rodeo events throughout the western U.S. He also served for several years as a police officer for the City of Grapevine. For most of his career until he retired he was a self-employed racehorse trainer and jockey agent.
Billy professed his faith in Christ as a young adult while attending a Billy Graham Crusade. He was known for his kind and friendly spirit and love for family. He was a fan of music, movies and the Old West. He most recently achieved a final bucket list wish to return to Montana once again. His life is celebrated by his children Trey and Kelly Stewart, Cody Stewart, Rhonda and Clayton Baker; grandsons Hadley and Rowdy Baker; stepchildren Caleb, Emmy, Nathan and Daniel Sauer; siblings Mike and Sharon Stewart, Ronnie and Bonnie Stewart, Donnie and Julie Stewart, and Roxanna and Joey McIntosh; 48 nieces and nephews; cousins and countless friends.

Funeral Service will be Monday, July 29, 11:30am – Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line, Hurst, TX 76053 followed by interment at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
