Billy Carl Wood

Billy ( Woody ) Carl Wood died at home of lung cancer in Grapevine, Texas on Sunday, April 4th, 2021. He was born November 30, 1938 in Mart Texas. He lived at Buckner Orphans Home from age 10-18. He married Sandra Ulmer Phillips on May 18, 1968 living in Irving, Texas then settled in Grapevine, Texas for 49 years. He worked for Frito-Lay as a route salesman for 35 years.
Survivors include wife- Sandra, Sons Billy Wood Jr. and Wife, Lori; Keith Wood, Charles Phillips and wife Connae. He has 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Woody is also survived by one sister Carolyn Payne (Dale) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing and visitation will be on Monday April 12, 2021 between 12:30 pm and 1:30pm at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine, TX, followed by graveside service at 3:00pm at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76051.
