Billy J. “Bill” Woodall, 90, of North Richland Hills, Texas passed away peacefully on Saturday November 13, 2021 in Fort Worth.
Bill was born on January 2,1931 in Fort Worth, to the late Winnie and Henry Woodall. He graduated from Polytechnic High School. Bill married Iris Corinne Sousae on May 13, 1950. He was a Mason for over 60 years, serving as past Worshipful Master at Richland Hills Masonic Lodge #1348 and receiving the Masonic Golden Trowel Award. Bill also was a 50-year member of the Worth Commandery and Moslah Shrine. He spent 44 years at the Union Pacific Railroad as a car inspector and wrecker operator. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, playing duplicate bridge and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Derek Ryan Dubberly and siblings, Wrethia Woodall Shockler and Ruby Woodall Hall, and parents.
Bill has left his memory to be cherished by his loving wife, Iris; children, Debra Woodall Lawrence and husband, Stephen; Don Woodall and wife, Judie; grandchildren, Malia Mims, Daniel Woodall, Daryl Woodall, Donald Woodall, Grant Lawrence and wife, Laura, and Caitlin Simpson and husband, Andrew; great grandchildren, Logan Mims and Luke Lawrence; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
