Blake Everett Clinton, age 24, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018 in Dallas, TX. Blake is survived by his parents, Ron and Trina Clinton of Trophy Club, TX; his brother and sister-in-law, Eric and Regan Clinton of Amarillo, TX; his grandparents, Jack and Sandra Smith of Brownwood, TX; his aunts and uncles, John and Maggie Clinton of Holly Creek, OK, Rory and Tasha Heisch of Belton, TX, and Cody and Melody Smith of Brownwood, TX; and his cousins, Katelyn, Kyle, Caylee, Macy, and Kristen. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Charlene Winters of Irving, TX and Holly Creek, OK; his grandfather, “Papa,” Bobby Winters of Holly Creek, OK; and his grandfather, Jon Clinton of Irving, TX. Blake was born on November 17, 1994 in Euless, TX, son to parents Ron and Trina Clinton. He graduated from Byron Nelson High School in 2013 where he was a three-year letterman on the varsity football team and developed many special friendships. Blake went on to attend Texas Tech University where he graduated in August, 2018 with a degree in Accounting. He had recently accepted a position at Weaver, L.L.P. in Dallas, TX. Blake Clinton enjoyed family, friends, sports, music and boating.
A memorial is scheduled for Friday, December 21, at 2:00 PM at Fellowship United Methodist Church of Trophy Club, Joel Quile to officiate. A reception will follow the service at Bara Church located at 301 Trophy Lake Drive, Suite 136, Trophy Club, TX 76262. The family wants to thank everyone for the outpouring of support, prayers, and thoughts during this difficult time. The love and kindness they have received is a testament to how many people Blake impacted and the type of person he was.
