Bob Ogle Flanagan

Bob Ogle Flanagan, 89, of Grapevine, Tx, He was born on April 17, 1934, in Dallas County. Bob was a beloved Farmer who had a green thumb and could grow anything, often sharing his produce with friends and family. He worked at Nelson Service Company, Grapevine Cemetery, and volunteered at Nash Farm Grapevine. Bob was also a professional gardener.

He is survived by his children Rickey Webb, Ric Flanagan (Mindy), Randy Webb (Kim), Tracy Fields (Paul). Bob is also survived by his sister Mareine Flanagan, grandchildren Kyle Flanagan (Denise), Sarah Webb, Amanda Mattern (Roland), Steven Webb (MoniKa), Tanya Schnetzer (Rob), Sophie Claire Fields, great grandchildren Leland Mattern, Ryland Mattern, Bobbi Jo Webb, Kylee Flanagan, Hudson Schnetzer, Jericho Schnetzer, and Eleanor Webb.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy F. Flanagan, Father C.E. Flanagan, Mother Donnie Foster Flanagan, brothers James Ray Flanagan, Charles Herman Flanagan, Jack Flanagan, James Edward Flanagan, Jerry Wayne Flanagan, and sisters Doris Smith, Pat Vester, Maxine Hall, Sue Souther, Moreine Davis, as well as grandsons Matt Webb and Jon Webb.

He worshiped at Bethel Baptist and enjoyed hobbies such as gardening, fishing, and telling stories.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 17, from 5-7 pm at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine, Tx. The funeral service will take place on March 18 at 11:00 am at Bethel Baptist in Grapevine, followed by burial in Grapevine, Texas. Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine, Texas, is assisting with the arrangements. Everyone is welcome to have lunch after the service at Tracy and Paul Fields home.
