Bobbie Joyce (Palmer) Skinner was born on August 11, 1942 in Arlington, Texas to the late Laura Marie (Williams) Palmer and Robert C. Palmer. She passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her Lord on February 9, 2024 in North Richland Hills, Texas as she was surrounded by her precious family.
She was a graduate of Arlington High School and traveled as a young lady with her family as missionaries in Mexico. She was a very involved mother and volunteered with the Girl Scouts, youth soccer teams, and PTA. She was a member of Christian Temple and enjoyed being a Sunday School teacher. She retired from UPS as part of their accounting team. In her retirement, she was a devoted member of her Bible Study group with her friends. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas G. Skinner; infant son, Greg Skinner; sister, Sandra Lee; and her mother-in-law, Gene Looney.
She is survived by her beloved children, Cindy Price and fiancé Jimmy Augello of Bedford; Sharon Kageman and husband, Stefan of Sausalito CA; Steven Skinner and wife, Angie of North Richland Hills; Ron Skinner and wife, Melissa of Little Elm; and Brad Skinner of Boncarbo, CO; grandchildren, Felix Kageman, Zoe Skinner, Jacob Skinner, Hannah Skinner, and Megan Skinner; brother, Gary Palmer of Weatherford; sister-in-law, Debbie Wages and husband Don, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family member and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst with a reception to follow to visit with the family.
