Bobbie Lee Van Name

Bobbie L. Van Name left this world for her Heavenly home, on December 13, 2022. She has defeated the horrible disease of Alzheimer's.

Bobbie was one of eleven children born March 13, 1936 in Mead, Oklahoma, to Orbin C. Hale and Gussie A. (Taylor) Hale. She moved to Dallas shortly after graduating high school, working for Chance Vought for several years before joining Bell Helicopter in 1963. She retired from Bell in 1996, after 33 years of service.

Bobbie married Edward Van Name in March of 1967. They were married thirty years and four days before his passing in 1997. Together, they raised her three children in the Euless area.

Bobbie loved traveling to far off places, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and siblings. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, her son Vance, and nine of her siblings. She leaves behind two surviving siblings, Reba Mangum and Nadine Calhoun, her two daughters, Dawan (Tony) Przano, Shonda (Jimmy) Campbell, step son, Richard (Jo Beth) Van Name, three biological grandchildren, Lindsey Przano, Sean Przano, and Grayson Van Name. As well as three step grandchildren, Richie Van Name, Dale Van Name and Amy Colmeiro.
