Bobby Jack Dacus

Bobby Jack Dacus, 89, passed away Sunday, April 14.
Survived by wife of 66 years, Thelma Dacus; daughter Judy Hill; granddaughter Jana Hill and her husband Brian Cholewinski; and great grandson Everett Cholewinski.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Hermoyne Dacus; twin brother Billy Mack Dacus and son-in-law David Hill.
Bob was a native of Hurst and attended Birdville High School. He was employed by Texas Industries for 45 years. Bob served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant.
He enjoyed horses, fishing, gardening and anything outdoors. In later years he enjoyed his livestock; cows, horses, sheep, goats, mules and chickens. Bob moved to Athens,Texas after retirement and considered that area of East Texas to be his second home.
Memorial Saturday April 27 11am First United Methodist Church, Hurst.
