The sudden passing of Brad Hines, 59, on December 30, 2022 left his family and friends shocked.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Diana, his children Emmalee Aguilar and husband Crispin, grandson Crispin Jr., Jessica Hines, Blake Hines, and 3 four-legged kids Kia, Hank, and Rusty. His brother, Benny, and many nephews, nieces, in-laws, and extended family. Brad was raised in Buckingham, Texas by Billye Fate Hines and Mary Nell Harris. And even though he grew up in the Dallas area he would later be dubbed “The Unofficial Mayor of the Fort Worth Stockyards”.
Brad was blessed to be able to make a living using his God-given talent to tell a story in song. While he gigged in and around the metroplex, the Fort Worth Stockyards was his home away from home. He loved The White Elephant Saloon (Beer Garden aka Love Shack) with all his heart. This venue holds many milestone memories for Brad as well as the start of many friendships that lasted his lifetime.
The only thing greater than his love for his family and talent for music was his undeniable faith for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Brad’s testimony brought him to celebrate 28 years of sobriety and Brad was not shy to praise God for saving him and making a way to share his story all for God’s glory.
