Bradley Edward Bartz

January 15, 1964 — March 21, 2016

Bradley Edward Bartz passed away March 21, 2016 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, surrounded by friends and family.

Known by friends and family as Brad, he was born on January 15th 1964 in Casper, Wyoming to parents Bill and Martha Bartz. Brad spent his early childhood in Houston Texas, before moving to San Rafael, California. An energetic and rowdy young man, he will always be remembered for his luminous smile and infectious laugh. Brad finished his high school career in CT, where he was a star Defensive Tackle for the Masuk Panthers and an accomplished student. Brad returned to Texas to attend Texas Lutheran College where he met his soul-mate and wife of 29 years, Lori. After finishing school (Upon graduation) with a degree in Marketing Brad relocated to the Metroplex where he (established) a career in Technology Sales and Leasing.

A passionate sports fan, Brad will be remembered for not only his love of the game but his dedication to visit as many venues as possible; often taking his kids to witness unforgettable games in historic locations. He was a committed auto racing fan, educating friends and family on the nuances of racing; making it seem more like a dance than a race. His collection of rare and vintage auto racing memorabilia was a true testament to his love of the sport. Although he was born in Wyoming Brad was quite the Texan; he loved seeking out the best BBQ in Texas, and could be found at Keller Indian football games most Friday nights cheering on his three kids in the band. A dedicated father Brad spent countless hours teaching and coaching baseball, basketball and the importance of having fun to his three children. One could often find Brad in the driveway after work- tie and dress shoes still on- shooting hoops with his three kids. Brad was not only a dedicated father but a great friend. Organizer of many Fantasy Football leagues and champion of a few; it was hard to find someone who knew more about what was going on in the world of football than Brad. His smile and zest for life will be missed by many.

Brad is survived by parents Bill and Martha Bartz, wife Lori Bartz, his son Bryan and wife Paige, his two daughters Allyson and Margret, and brother Bill.
