Bradley Kent LaChance, of Euless, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2014.
A memorial for Bradley will be held at the Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst, Texas at 4pm on Tuesday, October 21. He will be laid to rest at the Dallas Fort Worth National Veterans Cemetery
He was born to Paul James LaChance and Judy LaChance Hissom in Charleston, West Virginia. Bradley has an older brother, Jeff LaChance, and a younger sister, Kristy LaChance.

Bradley graduated from Bayside High School in Virginia Beach and received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University and a Master of Business Administration from National University. Bradley joined the Armed Forces in 1982 and served at Fort Hood in the First Cavalry 8th Engineering Battalion.

Bradley was married to Marie LaChance and was the proud father of Erika LaChance, born in 1984, and Christen LaChance, born in 1993. He was an animal lover, and had three beloved dogs: Daisy, Niblet, and Cooper.

Bradley was passionate about technology and futurism. He founded the website Future Human Evolution, where he served as the Executive Editor. He is also the Executive Director of the Center for Evolutionary Technologies, a non-profit organization promoting education and research in areas of human advancement through the responsible application of technology. Bradley was a management and IT consultant for nearly 20 years, most recently working with the global consulting firm Accenture.

Bradley is survived by his wife Marie LaChance; daughters, Erika and Christen LaChance; father, Paul LaChance and wife Nancy; mother, Judith LaChance; brother, Jeff LaChance and wife Shirley; sister, Kristy Preece and husband Rich; and many other extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Center for Evolutionary Technologies via the Future HumanEvolution website to fund the advancement of science and technology education for the next generation.
