Brandon J Stewart was born in Raton, New Mexico, November 26, 1974, to Mike and Sharon Stewart. He and his 2 siblings grew up in the Smithfield area. Brandon resided in Keller, and passed away into heaven on Monday, February 3, 2025, at the age of 50.
Brandon, (known as “BJ” to family), accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior as a young boy. He was a member of North Richland Hills Baptist Church (now Cross Church) and was a part of the student ministry. He was known for his friendliness, humor, "big grin" and willingness to help others. Brandon truly had a servant’s heart.
He graduated from Richland High School where he played baseball, basketball and competed in dirt bike racing. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, biking, a day at the golf course and watching the Tour de France. His career path included the restaurant business, later to pursue the car business for 20 plus years. For the last two years, he worked as a jockey agent with the Stewart racing team.
Brandon has a beautiful daughter, Kelsi J. She was his whole world! If you spent any time with Brandon, he would tell you all about his pride and joy...Kelsi J! He cherished time with her and there was nothing he wouldn’t do for his baby girl. Angie was Brandon's lifelong love and Brandon loved Angie's daughter Kaitlyn like his own.
Brandon is survived by his daughter, Kelsi Stewart, Angie Atchley (Kelsi's mother), Kaitlyn Atchley (Kelsi's sister), parents Mike and Sharon Stewart, sister Carrie Carpenter (husband Chris), brother Mike Stewart Jr. (wife Heidi), 3 nieces, 2 nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and a host of friends.
