Brandon James Stewart.

BJ. Bubba. Tony Baja… A man of many nicknames, but one solid heart of gold.

With a backward Bass Pro Shops hat, old worn-out cowboy boots, and a personality the size of Texas, Brandon tackled the world like none before him ever did. Fearless, charismatic, compassionate and genuine. He was one of a kind.

Brandon was the first child and only son to Sidney and Sue Stewart. As a kid, he never met an object too high to jump from. No vehicle too fast to drive. No challenge not worth accepting. But more than anything he was kind, compassionate and respectful.

He carried his zest for life with him throughout his adolescence and into adulthood. Not a day went by when his little sister, Amber, didn’t feel protected. Not a day she didn’t look up to him. Their bond was impenetrable. His nephew, Hayden, thought he hung the moon.

But perhaps the biggest testament to character there is are Brandon’s friends, and there are many. From his days growing up in Saginaw to his time in Lubbock. And ultimately, to what seems like every square inch of Dallas-Fort Worth, It’s hard to travel far without finding someone whose life he didn’t touch personally.

Brandon had a deep passion and talent for landscaping. His rich entrepreneurial spirit eventually materialized into a successful landscape design business. It was in his work that he found his most intense levels of focus and concentration.

Anyone who has ever known Brandon will be forever changed by the impact he had on their lives. But his spirit is indestructible and will live on forever. There will always only be one Brandon James Stewart. And he’s ours. To treasure and share for eternity, until we meet again.

“Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth”.
