Brenda was born in Haskell County, TX on December 8, 1940, to parents Frank and Fauna Brazell Garrett. She was married to Donald Wayne Elliott for 57 years at his death on August 13, 2016. She found great joy in caring for patients in her 40-year career as a Respiratory Therapist in Abilene, Midland, and Arlington, TX. She is survived by daughters, Stephanie Wigley & husband Kenneth, Melinda Proctor, Donna George & husband Steve, and son, Brent Elliott & fiancé, Cristal Booker. She is also survived by grandchildren, David McPherson, Jr. & wife Lexie, Dustin Smith & wife Kendra, Lauren Culwell & husband Bryan, Meaghan Page & husband Mitchell, Jordan McPherson, Bryce Elliott, Mason Booker, Chad George and 10 great-grandchildren.
