Brenda Ann Rhodes, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful member of her community, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2024, in Southlake, TX at the age of 81. Born on June 12, 1942, in Bogalusa, Louisiana, Brenda's life was one marked by love, devotion, and unwavering faith.
Brenda is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Ronald Floyd Rhodes, and will forever be remembered by her daughter in love, Peggy Michelle Rhodes; four grandchildren: Jared Lane Anderson, Jamie Lynn Cain, Colin Michael Rhodes, and Cameron Mitchell Rhodes, along with her six adored great-grandchildren: Ethan, Evan, Lacey, Lyla, Ava, and Harlow. Brenda was predeceased by her parents Donease and Pauline Ezell, her brothers James, Glenn, and Larry Ezell, her daughter Rhonda Lynn Rhodes Anderson, and her son Kevin Dale Rhodes.
Known affectionately as 'Mom,' Brenda's warm and loving nature was evident in the lives she touched. Her abiding faith in God and dedication to her family were guiding lights in her life. Brenda also found joy in her role as the Queen Mother of her Red Hat Society group, treasuring the friendships she formed within the group.
Funeral services for Brenda Ann Rhodes will be held at Bethesda Community Church, 4700 N Beach St, Haltom City, TX. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. The interment will follow the funeral at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, TX.
