Brian Joseph Loftus, 61, passed away on Monday morning, January 13, 2025 at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Grapevine, Texas after suffering from HATTR Amyloidosis. Brian was born and raised in Bayonne, New Jersey. He’s also lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin while attending Marquette University. After marrying his high school sweetheart, Donna, they initially lived in Bayonne, but then moved to Londonderry, New Hampshire where both their daughters, Caitlin and Megan, were born. In 2000, the family moved to Colleyville, Texas.
The majority of Brian‘s career was spent in advertising, starting with working for a New York City advertising agency then eventually moving over to advertising sales. In 2012, Brian earned his masters in rehabilitation counseling and joined the Texas Workforce Commission as a rehabilitation counselor helping people with disabilities find jobs.
Brian has two beautiful daughters, Caitlin and Megan. Brian has always been proud of his girls, especially of the hard work they have put in at school, especially recently, as they pursued their respective Masters degrees, in order to be able to work in the careers they each desire.
In addition to his wife and two daughters, Brian is survived by his sister, Allison Wright and her husband, Stephen as well as his brother, Gary ‘s wife, Patty Loftus. Brian was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother Gary Loftus. Brian is also survived by his two brothers in law, Ed Siems and his wife, Ann and Gary Siems and his wife, Carmella. Brian was blessed to have nine nephews and four nieces from his and his wife’s siblings.
Brian will be missed by those who knew and loved him. He will be cheering for Marquette’s basketball team and rooting for the Boston Red Sox from above. His memory will live on in the hearts and minds of his family and friends.
