Bruce O. Barthel, 89 of Keller passed away December 14th in Keller.
Memorial Service; Saturday, December 23, 11:00 a.m., Messiah Lutheran Church in Keller.

Mr. Barthel was born November 4, 1928 in Brighton, CO to Robert and Sophie Barthel. He graduated from Colorado School of Mines in 1956 and worked as an Engineer. He owned and operated Bison Petroleum Corporation from 1982 to 1996. Mr. Barthel enjoyed coin collecting, coaching baseball and had been a previous active member in Trinity Lutheran and Christ Lutheran Churches in Amarillo.
Mr. Barthel was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Bonnie Kipp and Lila Brown; he is survived by his wife Delphine Barthel; daughter Lisa Barthel; sons Larry (Trixie) Barthel, Scott Barthel and Paul (Eniko) Barthel; and grandchildren MK Early, Nicole Barthel, Xanthis Barthel, Turner Barthel, Valen Barthel, Alexa Barthel and Gabrielle Barthel.
