Bryan Douglas Sellens

Bryan Douglas Sellens, 50, met Jesus on October 7, 2022 in his home. He is survived by his mother, Gloria Maria Funk, brother, Steve Sellens, step-daughters, Ashton Foster, Arin Foster, and daughters, Haley Sellens, Raiya Sellens, and Regan Sellens. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Anden, Brynlee, and Averly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Dale Sellens, sister, Sheri Beth Sellens, and his grandparents.
Bryan was born in Russell Kansas on January 18, 1972 to loving parents Glen Dale Sellens and Gloria Maria Morgenstern (Sellens-Funk). He graduated from Hays High School in Hays, Kansas and then moved to Arlington, Texas where he earned a bachelors degree at DeVry University.
After moving to Texas, his career spanned 30 years as a Software Engineer. Outside of the workplace, Bryan had a variety of hobbies including playing billiard and arcade games; Pool and Galaga being his most favorite. He also loved attending sporting events any chance he could. He was a fan of all Texas sporting teams, including Texas Rangers, Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks, and especially the Dallas Cowboys. He was a skilled wood-worker (carpentry) and always loved being in his garage building projects for himself, family, and friends. He just overall loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his daughters and grandchildren and grand-dogs too, who always held such a special place in his heart.
