Byron "Barney" Brown

Byron Fred Brown, 85 years old of Keller, Texas, known to his family and close friends as Barney, died on July 15, 2015 in Fort Worth, Texas. Born December 29, 1929 in Long Beach, Calif. to Byron K & Vada Elizabeth (Garn) Brown. After serving in the Korean war he married Helen Louise Hood on March 29, 1952. They raised their seven children in Buena Park, Calif. where he owned and operated Rapid Reproductions, his printing company. Over the 63 years together they were blessed with 28 grandchildren and 53 (and counting) great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife and six of his children, Beverly Dulaney (William), Steven Brown (Cheryl), Diane Jones (Joseph), Katherine Nelson (Thomas), Kenneth Brown (Janet), Elizabeth Anderson (David), and daughter-in-law Mary Brown. Preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and son, Byron Paul Brown.

Funeral Service: 11am, Monday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Trophy Club.

Burial: 1:15pm, Tuesday at the Dallas Ft Worth National Cemetery, Dallas.

Visitation 6-8pm, Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home, Keller.
