Byron Eugene Tandy

Byron Eugene Tandy, 93, passed away November 18, 2020 at Chisholm Trail Estates Senior Living in Keene. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm, Monday November 23, 2020, at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home, 518 SW Johnson Ave. in Burleson. Burial will be held at a later date Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
Byron was born May 2, 1927, in Allendale, Missouri, to Samuel and Garnet (Porter) Tandy. He grew up in Grant City, MO, and graduated from the local high school. He went on to join the U.S. Navy to serve his country in WW II. He was Honorably Discharged in 1945 and went on to distinguish himself in his work with Rockwell International. He was even granted an achievement award for his participation in the Apollo program with NASA.
Byron was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Eugene Morin and his second wife, Jean Marie Anderson.
He is survived by his son, Ted; grandsons, Rusty, Michael, Joey, and Stephen; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Bailey, Cash, Dalton, Ava, Everett, and Charlotte.
