Cali Rebecca Remington, age 11, born September 18, 2009 in Plano Texas and passed away September 13, 2021 in Fort Worth Texas. Cali was born to Reid and Amy Remington.
She attended FBC Keller K.I.D.S from 2011 to 2014, Freedom Elementary from 2014 – 2019 and lastly Parkwood Hill Intermediate from 2019 to 2021. She participated in Upward Cheerleading, Cupstacking Club, Honor Guard at Freedom, Choir, Gymnastics, played the flute in band, GAs (Girls In Action), served in the 4 year old class at church and was active in her class at church.
Cali asked Jesus into her heart and was baptized on March 5, 2017. She enjoyed skateboarding, swimming, jumping on trampolines, Six Flags, Hawaiian Falls, baking macarons, spending time with friends, playing cards with family and drawing. She helped care for the foster babies. She loved her animals and even set her alarm to get up during the night to bottle feed her kitten. Cali was looking forward to being old enough to “kid-sit” her friend with special needs. She was over the moon excited for her two nephews to be born in a couple months. She loved Daddy-daughter dates and when daddy would wash her hair at the sink. Every night she cuddled with mom and watched Cupcake Wars.
Cali is survived by her loving parents, Reid and Amy Remington; siblings, Connor (20), Caleb (17), Cason (15), Karli (9) and Kingston (7); maternal grandparents, John and Kathy Landreth; paternal grandparents, Richard and Marguerite Remington and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm, Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Lucas Funeral Home, 1601 South Main Street, Keller, Texas. Celebration of Life will be at 6 pm, Friday, October 1, 2021 at Keystone Church, 1711 Keller Parkway, Keller, Texas 76248.
