Carol Leinen, 71, passed away October 23, 2017, after a brief battle with ovarian cancer.
Service: A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Grapevine on Saturday at 10:30 am. Viewing: Friday from 5 to 7 pm at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine. Her ashes will be buried in a National Cemetery at a later date.

Carol was born June 28, 1946 in Watertown, SD. She married her college sweetheart, Mike, in 1965, and spent the following years traveling the world. She pursued her passions for sewing, quilting, and cooking. She was an avid game player and loved to entertain friends and family. She was a devoted member of her church and volunteered much of her time to helping others.
Carol is survived by husband, Michael; children, Terri and Chad; 7 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, and 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
