Carol Lynn Scannell passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018.
Graveside Service: 11:00 am, Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville.
Visitation: 5-7pm, Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurt.
Carol was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to parents Ed and Jewel Torbett on February 25, 1944. In her younger years she was very active and enjoyed running, cycling, and tennis. Carol loved to garden. She could tell you anything you ever wanted to know about plants and flowers. She adored animals and could have as many as 4 or 5 cats or dogs at one time. She was also a long time member of Calvary Lutheran Church of North Richland Hills.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 54 years on August 1st, Mike Scannell; son, Scott Scannell and his wife, Karen; granddaughters, Camille and Chelsea; sisters, Kay Spyers and Kathy Thompson and her husband, Jim; and many other extended family and friends.
