Carol E. Williams

Carol Elaine Sharp was born in Troy, Kansas, Doniphan County, on February 21, 1946 to Kemper and Violet (Edson) Sharp. Carol went to be with her savior on August 23, 2018; surrounded by her husband and daughters.
Carol graduated Troy High School in 1965. She continued her education at St. Jo. Beautician School and became highly successful. After moving to Texas, she then worked for K.I.S.D. as a Cafeteria Manager at Shady Grove Elementary School for 14 years.
Carol married Donald Eugene Williams of Paola, Kansas on August 2, 1969 in Troy, Kansas. He was the love of her life.
Carol had three lovely daughters: Tonya Annette Anderson, married to Chris Anderson; Sarah Kay Shipp, married to Joe Shipp; and Diana Irene Moore, married to Joshua Moore.
Carol had eight beautiful grandchildren: Samantha, Colton; Brittany, Haley, Cassidy; Makayla, Christian, and Ella. Carol had three sisters and five brothers. She is survived by her sister Betty and husband Bill Snodgrass of Leavenworth, Kansas; sister Patricia Weber of St. Joseph, Missouri; sister Joyce (Sadie) and husband Cary Gray of Liberty, Missouri; brother Leroy and wife Phyllis of Council Grove, Kansas; brother Melvin and wife Janice of Troy, Kansas; and brother Ronnie and wife Gladys of Troy, Kansas. Carol was preceded in death by her parents Kemper and Violet Sharp and her brothers Lawrence and Jerry Sharp.
Carol was member of First United Methodist Church in Keller, Texas.
Carol loved gospel music, dancing, collecting precious moment figurines, cruises, garage sales, and antiquing. Christmas was her favorite season and every room was decorated. She loved spending time with her husband and family. Carol’s gift of laughter, beautiful smile, and her warm personality will always be fondly remembered by her family and friends. Her friendly smile earned her the nickname “Sunshine” by her Dance Instructor.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Carol Elaine Williams.
