Carolyn Ann McCommis, 82, a retired LVN, passed away Monday, October 12, 2015.
Funeral service will be 11am Saturday at Concordia Lutheran Church in Bedford. Burial will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8pm Friday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. A native of Durango, Colorado, Carolyn was born February 4, 1933 to Arno Carl Meyer and Bertha Leuking Meyer. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul Meyer and Rev. Arnold H. Meyer.
Survivors include her children, Karl McCommis and wife, Edna, Phil McCommis, Lois McCommis, Ruth Cigainero and husband, Ray, Marti Meyer and husband, Jerome; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Hick and husband, Walter.
