Carrie Delperdang, 63, of Highland Village, Texas passed away on June 26, 2022. Carrie was born in Sioux City, Iowa to Gerald Keith Tuttle and Genelle Allard Tuttle on March 9, 1959.
Carrie worked her way through nursing school and State Boards, all the while working 2 jobs and taking care of her family during her education asperations. From 1995-2005, Carrie served at multiple hospitals on the East Coast including London Hospital. She also accomplished multiple Life Flight missions during her career. She volunteered at local clinics and High Schools for student wellness; taught Pharmacology at Hager's Town Community College; mentored and trained many Registered Nurse Trauma Interns. Carrie retired as an ER Trauma Nurse after 35 years of amazing service.
Carrie was an accomplished artist. She volunteered her time and talent at various art seminars. She produced artwork that was donated to numerous charity organizations and raffled for fund raisers such as; Sioux City Animal Rescue, Texas Commission of Art, Texas Art Center, and an AR Dallas Workshops Volunteer. Carrie was once asked to render a pencil sketch for a mother that had lost her son. Even without knowing the family, she drew a perfect rendition of this boy and gave it to the grieving mother. The healing that provided for his mother was priceless.
Carrie will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother and friend.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Russ, and their son Trent.
