Carroll Benjamin Morris

September 19, 1952 — July 17, 2020

Carroll Benjamin Morris, III, a Retired Machinist, USAF, and husband of Joyce for 42 years passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020 in Haslet, Texas.

Ben was born on September 19,1952 in Wilmington, Delaware. He had a large family, with five brothers and one sister.

Ben is survived by his wife, Joyce and three adult children, Linda, Stephen and Michael. Ben was a Grandfather to Sean, Zachary, Brandon, Nick, Kaylee, Linda and Regan. Ben was also a Great Grandfather to Elliott.

Ben joined the Air Force and served for twenty years as a Machinist and Welder. While in the Air Force Ben was stationed overseas in England and Turkey for several years. After retiring from the Air Force, Ben continued his career by working at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing as a Machinist for seventeen years.

Ben had many things he enjoyed about life besides his family. He loved going on joy rides with his wife on their motorcycle, he loved swimming in the pool, working on cars, boating and flying his drones.

Ben loved his three dogs: Cookie, Peanut, Bella. He also had a flock of birds he loved and who are missing him, His Ducks, Nana and Donald and Road Star the Goose. We hope Ben will be joined again with his dog Snowball who passed away many years ago – she always brought a big smile to his face.

Ben will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held on July 24, 2020 at 2:00 at Lucas Funeral Home, Keller, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in Ben’s name to the American Heart Association.
