Carson Leslie Dibble was born on October 5, 1940 in New Albany, Pennsylvania to the late Iva Elizabeth (Hoyt) Dibble and Rexford Carl Dibble. He passed away on December 30, 2022 in Bedford, Texas at the age of 82 years old.
He served our country for 22 years in the United States Air Force. Carson was an outdoorsman; enjoying hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved to read with Louis L’Amour being his favorite author. He was a fan of western movies with John Wayne movies ranking at the top of his list. At one time he enjoyed square dancing and clogging with his wife, Eileen. He thoroughly enjoyed bowling where he gained another family. His family was extremely important to him and he enjoyed all of his favorite things with them including family game nights.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Carlton Dibble, Robert Dibble, and Francis Dibble; and sister, Denise Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Glenda “Eileen” (Butler) Dibble of Bedford, Texas; his son, Kevin Dibble of Bedford; daughter, Katrina Davis of North Richland Hills; grandchildren, Tyler Davis, Joshua Davis, and Brannon Bates; sisters-in-law, Janet Dibble and Shirley Dibble; brothers-in-law, Rickey Butler and wife, Charlotte, Chris Butler and wife, Janet; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Memorial visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M., Monday, January 16, 2023 at Lucas Funeral Home Chapel in Hurst with a memorial service following at 2:00 P.M. Mr. Dibble will be inurned at Smithfield Cemetery at 3:30 P.M. also on Monday, January 16, 2023 with full Air Force Honors.
