Catherine Virginia Anderson

Catherine Virginia Anderson passed from this life into the arms of her loving Savior Thursday, Sept. 18, 2015, in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Chapel. Private burial will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
She was born in Stuttgart, Ark., on Dec. 13, 1930, to Louis and Ethel Sanders. She lived most of her early years in Little Rock, Ark., and later in her early adult years moved and worked in Camden, Ark., at the International Paper Mill. Several years later she moved to Texas and attending a business school and got a job with Express Concrete Company in Fort Worth as a bookkeeper. She married her loving husband, Ray Anderson, in 1984 and had 31 wonderful years together. She loved to cook and was an avid reader in her spare time. Their church home was Heritage Church of Christ in Fort Worth.
She was preceded in death by her only sibling, Edward Sanders, in 2010.
Survivors: She is survived by her husband, Ray Anderson of Fort Worth; children, Lanie Erxleben and her husband, Bob, of Keller, Sharon Akers, Tom Anderson, Cindy Greary and her husband, Barry, all of Horn Lake, Miss.; seven grandchildren; and 14 great- grandchildren.
