Catherine Bowdish

Catherine Frances Bowdish of Austin, Texas passed January 25th, 2020 in Grapevine, Texas. Catherine known as Katy to family and Kay to friends will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother
and friend to all she met. Catherine was born in Chicago, Illinois March 7th, 1930 preceded in death by father, Fortunato Mauriello and mother Maria (Ghirlandi) Mauriello...both immigrating from Italy in the early 1900’s; brother Anthony Mauriello and sisters Rose Tufano and Isabelle Nardulli.
She is survived by her son and daughter in-law Greg and Sharon Bowdish of Southlake, Texas; grandson Blake Bowdish with great grandchildren Jackson and Olivia...two granddaughters through marriage; Belynda with great grandchildren Mason, Jacob, Konner & Riley; Shakera with great grandchildren Wyatt & Saylor.
She is also survived by her baby sister Rita Schreiner of Chicago.
Catherine NEVER met a stranger...was ALWAYS giving of herself first; she loved music and dancing, babies, puppy dogs, anything pasta, anything sweet...and on those special occasions, a good Martini.
She will be sorely missed by those that knew her
…but NEVER forgotten.
