Chad Mckinney

Christopher "Chad" McKinney was born July 19, 1980 and swept away on angel wings to heaven on August 11, 2020. He is survived by his loving parents Patrick and Sally McKinney, sister Carrie Haire and her husband Bryan Haire, and his nephew William Haire and niece Cora Haire who he adored. He is also survived by his grandparents Chuck and Kathleen Schmeltekoph and 13 aunt and uncles with many cousins. He attended Fire/EMT academy with his best friend Todd Rorie. Chad became an EMT while Todd pursued firefighting, but they remained inseparable and called each other brother. He enjoyed helping others as an EMT, paramedic, and working Security at UTSW. He also enjoyed family gatherings and his hobbies included wrestling, baseball, weight lifting, collecting movies and memorabilia. He will be missed dearly and thought of everyday.
