FORT WORTH -- Charlene Scott, 65, passed away Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, in Fort Worth.
Graveside service: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1601 South Main St., Keller.
Charlene Williams Scott was born April 10, 1952, in Mosier Valley, the eldest of nine children born to the late Melvin and Essie Phillips Williams. She was a longtime member of Christland Baptist Church and loved her Bible and having Scripture read to her. In her free time, Charlene watched her soap operas and, in fact, not a day would go by that she missed her soaps. Another passion of Charlene’s was shopping – shopping for anything and everything.
Charlene was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Scott, Sr.; son, Robert E. Scott, Jr.; her parents; and siblings, Johnnie Williams, Stewart Williams, Laura Williams, and Janice Williams.
Survivors: Children, Paul Williams and wife, Jessica, and Angela Scott and husband, Gregory Webb; grandchildren, Christopher, Breanna, George, Ashley, Gregory, Amber, Rebecca, and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Selahriel, Joseph, Jeremiah, Jayden, and Alaihyah; siblings, Teresa Young, Minnie Williams, Henry Williams, and Melvin Williams Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family and friends.
